Anniversary Parties at
South Pointe
Whether you're celebrating
yourselves, you want to surprise your parents on their 50th wedding
anniversary, or your neighbors have a milestone anniversary coming
up, South Pointe has the facilities and ideas for you.
Ideas
for your Anniversary Party:
Capture your party from your
guests' point of view with specialized single-use cameras. Leave one
on each table and a basket by the door so people can drop them in as
they leave! Think of the fun you'll have when the pictures come
back.
A favorite activity at a wedding
anniversary is to take the camcorder around and have people tape
their wishes or a special remembrance of the couple. Makes a great
remembrance for the couple, and can be a lot of fun at the party if
you have the right person working the camera.
Instead of gold for a 50th
Anniversary, go for a large frame that can hold a collage. Gather up
a collection of pictures of the couple from family and friends,
include some pictures of the wedding and other anniversaries if you
can. Arrange them on a sheet of gold colored poster board cut to fit
the frame. Fitting 50 years worth of memories in one frame may be
difficult. You can expand it into a memory book. Have everyone who
knows the couple write a few lines about them. You can do this by
email...it makes the rest easier.
Try doing a bit of detective work and find out the name of the
song they danced their first dance to. 1954 is not so long ago that
you won't be able to find a copy of the song on a CD or at least
some sheet music for a talented friend or family member to play for
the first dance at the reception.
At South Pointe Greens, fun is
limited only by your imagination.
